https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rm_ykJyh_Zw;Murmuring;5:17;“MURMURING” was borne from the impacts of COVID on the performing arts industry and particularly, the desire to nurture the mental health, spirit and connection of dancers and audiences alike, who were struggling through the prolonged 2020 COVID lockdown in Victoria, Australia.
The film Murmuring includes artists from The Australian Ballet (TAB) plus the 2020 Graduating year of The Australian Ballet School (ABS) (normally the graduate year level performs at State and National venues and accompanies The Australian Ballet on a regional tour). The Australian Ballet had not performed since March 2020, and whilst all dancers had undertaken some form of remote classes from their living rooms, the extensive COVID lockdown resulted in isolation and lack of connection as all performance opportunities and collaborations disappeared in the wake of back-to-back lockdowns.
Amidst a sense of despondency, the collaborative Project Starling evolved. It aimed to work within the COVID restrictions with the mission that artists, volunteers and audience members would feel a sense of achievement and connection, despite the year which challenged those very things.
Project Starling was a plan to work towards producing a film of a large group choreographed piece in a public location which would involve artists and students mentoring, learning and rehearsing remotely until they could meet in person.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8fyngbfz-Y;Terra;43:00;Terra expresses the detriment of pollution in Appalachia, through mythology and culture. The film follows a student character that is taught about the threats of climate change by the 4 natural elements: Fire, Earth, Air, and Water.
Throughout the work, the elements signify that they used to symbolize life, now they symbolize fear and destruction. This elemental metaphor reflects how the earth warns us of human disruption through the increase of hurricanes, floods, mudslides, forest fires, and other natural disasters.
The elements guide the student through time, from the past to now, as a warning to take action against climate change before time runs out.
By working with an artistic medium, we hope to not only engage the public, but provide a platform for young Appalachian artists. Consequently, we hope to accurately portray what is happening in the region without relying on stereotypes, overdone Appalachian tropes, or overdone topics. We hope to create a platform in which young artists feel they have a place in the region, and do not feel they have to leave to have opportunities. To put it simply, we want to provide Millennial and Gen-Z artists with a voice for two reasons: for one, we have a deep outmigration amongst the youth in the Appalachian region and want to provide opportunity; two, we, the youth, are the ones that will ultimately face the climate crisis.

«Young fashion designers of the Art Academy of Latvia are far-sighted and intuitive in future fashion processes. This is evidenced by the concepts of new collections, the emotional content of works based on today’s world confusion and reflection of social events. Watching the world’s leading brands, communication with interested parties about the latest collections is transferred in digital form. Nowadays, digitalization is also the moment when Latvian fashion can go out into the world faster. It is an opportunity for young designers to be visible on a much larger global scale in order to successfully implement the benefits of digitization,» says Agnese Narņicka, Head of the Fashion Department at the AAL.

Seeing in the dark examines the sensory experience of being blind, with a focus on being blind as a strength: how you can perceive more as a blind person and how the other senses become even more important when your sight is lost. The documentary tells the story of four powerful, blind characters: the couple Yany and Tinah and the sisters Sandra and Marjoke. Yany and Tinah have built their own exhibition, ’Seeing in the dark’, in which sighted people can experience what it is like to use your non-visual senses. Sisters Sandra and Marjoke grew up in a completely blind family. The only exception was Sandra, who could see. These unique stories are bundled in the documentary and show how limitations in life can be turned into positivity. A lesson about decisiveness and optimism, an ode to the other senses and an investigation into the blind world: to learn to see in the dark as a sighted person.

Tusalih is a dance film directed by Shaun Bui, in collaboration with Parisian designer Georgie Salama and creative studio Jayah Studio.
It tells the story of the reconciliation of a young woman and her emotional body, interpreted by Stencia Yambogaza and Germain Zambi, combining contemporary dance and Krump.
Many people decide to cut themselves from their emotions, becoming tough and keeping buried inside their feelings.
Director Shaun Bui says that the first step of self healing from our traumas, is to recognize and to listen to what our emotions are saying, to become vulnerable and honest with ourselves.
All the music was composed by GVLVXY a French producers group.

Taking an 8-minute duet situated in various locations, and repeated four times, choreographer Claire Marshall investigates how the sense of ‘story’ shifts with the consideration of location, cinematic elements, and editing.
The duet explores a discordant couple stuck in a rut, looping manipulative behaviour as four stories eventually shift to become one story.
Rather than impose an idea on a specific location scouted to suit a story, as an experiment, Shift was filmed in numerous locations, and allowed the sense of «story» to evolve in the edit.
The editing of Shift was not pre-planned before filming, making its production unconventional by traditional filmmaking standards. Rather, through experimental creative processes, the sense of story unfolded through the enactment of the choreography, grounded and shaped by the various shooting locations.

Even so, I wanted to make the narrative and visuals to be a bit vague and abstract, leaving it open to different interpretations as well as the concept of being stuck in a cycle of abuse. Especially with the idea of our inner and outer demons that keep us trapped in patterns, beliefs and behaviors that lead to toxic and abusive situations and relationships.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-mMGpsWiD8;A Father's Plight;14:00;The first of a three-book series about the journey of fatherhood and some of the things we face on said journey. While our stories may be different, our struggles and experiences may be the same. Us, as men and fathers, a lot of the time, we try to keep our emotions pinned up inside, not speaking on the things we go through. That needs to change, and so does the narrative when it comes to us as African American men and fathers or any father, for that matter, that may face the kinds of struggles discussed in this story. This book is meant to salute and commend all the fathers out there doing it, playing a vital part in the lives of their kids daily, and challenge the men out there that want to be better. Never lose sight of your children, despite whatever adversity, or curveball life may throw your way. You never know how you can affect the world by what you pour into them, time spent is crucial. Always remember, the richest moments have nothing to do with money or financial prominence, but from the life we live, and the deep-rooted knowledge we gain from those experiences whether good or bad. Embrace your life, live your truths, find your voice and watch negatives become positive.
Life is about reflection, when you look in the mirror what is it that you see? Are you a better man than the ones who came before you? The ones that have taught you life lessons; positive or negative? As I sit and reflect on my life, I find that some of the most valuable lessons came from the losses, yes, Moral Victories. But again, it’s all about how you perceive the loss. It’s all up to you. Are you going to make excuses, when things don’t go to the exact science you want, or are you willing to adapt, and adjust for the greater good of not only you, but for the others that may be closest to you? Sometimes sacrifice and compromise can be key to a fulfilling existence, but only you can decide that for yourself. For we only have one life to live. Grab it by the horns and own it. It’s your story, unique because while others can say they have shared similar experiences, no one can ever say they’ve walked in your shoes. Again, while our struggles may be similar, our stories are not the same, everyone has their own. This is just mine, and if putting it out there to the world reaches one person and affects them positively, then I have succeeded. Our children should push us to dig deeper within ourselves, and reach higher to attain our goals. There is so much more to this story and it is something that we go through more than people know. We are aiming to tell more of this story as so many fathers can relate.

A historical event was taking place in South Florida and throughout the world, the Covid 19 Pandemic, the Viper Virus. I wanted to know how people were coping with this virus, what people were thinking and how this was affecting their lives. Because of the virus, Fort Lauderdale closed their beach during spring break. I had to record this historic event and began videotaping in Fort Lauderdale and throughout the area. Thinking this virus would be over soon, I taped as much as I could, deserted streets, closed businesses, it didn’t end. Everything was changing rapidly on a daily basis that affected all of us... masks, quarantine, and social distancing. I was able to get important interviews virtually and continued recording this event through our nations birthday, July 4, 2020. But had the virus ended? It was affecting each person in a different way. It was changing our world. People were concerned and scared. We were now living in a virtual world. What does the future hold? Witness the changes as you watch VIPER VIRUS, History in the Making.
